Who we're looking for

TOASST is hiring for a part-time marketing coordinator to support marketing covering Hong Kong.

Reporting directly to TOASST co-founders Amy Powell and Christina Lau Tam, this role is a great opportunity for a graduate student or recent graduate looking for a hands-on position at a rising e-commerce start-up with the opportunity to sharpen skills in social media strategy, content and digital marketing, PR and media relations. We welcome applicants who are looking to roll up their sleeves and contribute to our vision of a destination for wine life well-lived where consumers can go to celebrate wine, food, travel and everything in between.

What you will be doing
  • Assist in planning and implementing online marketing promotion and offline events to drive subscriptions, sales and boost customer acquisition in Hong Kong
  • Support the development of a social media and email marketing content calendar and content creation strategy
  • Manage the brand’s positioning and presence on Instagram with campaign development and weekly post development
  • Manage email marketing campaign development and support with weekly EDMs and monthly blog posts
  • Support asset development, ad hoc flyer or eDM image projects
  • Manage the brand’s social accounts across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter and drive results aligned with brand growth goals
  • Drive organic social following with stories and content campaigns
  • Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns’ effectiveness
  • Liaise with partners on cross promotions, create assets and content
  • Build image library through outreach to wineries, distributors, and collaborations with social content creators

Additional

  • Physical and virtual event management, coordination and support as needed, including
    assisting with registration, social media promotion, marketing emails
  • Set-up of the event, printing of collateral and assets
  • Presentation support
Who you are
  • University degree or graduate student
  • 1-2 years Work experience with sales or general marketing background with a focus on consumer products a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English. Cantonese is a plus.
  • Highly detail oriented with ability to self-manage deadlines
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • 1-2 years minimum experience with Adobe Photoshop
  • Social media savvy with knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Track record in consumer marketing, social media management or content marketing
  • Strong organisational skills and creative mindset
  • Video editing skill a plus
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms including Mailchimp, Squarespace and Klaviyo a plus
  • Awareness in digital advertising and marketing strategies in the wine e-commerce industry a plus
  • Interest and ability to keep learning new and creative marketing approaches
  • Be proactive in understanding products trends through market research
  • Interest in digital marketing, campaign development, social media and of course, wine!
The Details
  • Part-time, 15-20 hours per week
  • Virtual working arrangement, opportunity to work with co-founders in working spaces at LRC, American Club and Soho House
  • Opportunity for commission based on new sales generation

Requirements:

  • Candidates will be required to submit a social media and content writing sample as part of the
    interview process
