Who we're looking for

We are looking for a passionate Merchandiser/ Senior Merchandiser to join our team.

What you will be doing

Communicate with buyers, vendors & counterparts, able to follow through products from the development stage, production to final shipment independently.
Responsible for managing suppliers, product development schedule, costing comparison & calculation, sourcing material, and vendors.
Follow-up orders with the factory, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
Source right suppliers, factories and analysis, factories, and analysis of their capability to produce our existing and new products.
Actively contribute and participate in sales-orientated initiatives to drive new business including social media postings and EDM.
Proactively develop categories of product handled and explore new opportunities, identify potential new products
Handle ad-hoc assignments as required.
Willing to travel to do factory visits and attend trade shows when needed.

Who you are

Minimum 5 years experience in a buying/trading environment preferably within the Outdoor Furniture/Safety Products/Garments sectors, experience in Manufacturing is an advantage.
Form 7 or above in education level.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese).
Previous experience working with European Clients is preferred.
Strong communication & negotiation skills with clients, factories, and vendors.
Digitally proficient in Microsoft Office and Photoshop and able to source new clients, products, and vendor online is essential.
Ability to work as a team member, able to work under pressure, and willing to learn new products is essential.
Detail minded, organized, proactive, and able to set and meet deadlines.
Available immediately preferred.
