Reducing Suffering

The prejudice, the bias, and the assumptions others hold regarding minorities, bringing about suffering and troubles for the marginalised ethnic minority community. The group hopes for being heard and a chance that their issues will be taken seriously and eventually addressed through policy change and programmes. The Zubin Foundation focuses on reducing suffering for the community providing not only emergency relief under COVID-19 but also free counselling services, helpline for women & girls in crisis. Facing the pandemic, The Zubin Foundation’s CARE BOX started in April 2020 providing direct assistance to the jobless and poor in the already under-resourced community. About 9,835 family members are directly benefitted through CARE BOX.

Providing Opportunities

Due to the fact that the group of ethnic minorities meet various obstacles in their life – like cultural factors and language obstacles – especially in the process of seeking for jobs and resources. The Zubin Foundation focuses on creating and providing more opportunities for them, as the bridge between the community and the resource providers – e.g. companies, schools, NGOs, etc. Training is an essential precondition for job seeking, so that everyone can keep enriching their skillset from not only employability but also a mindset to be a responsible citizen. We partner with other companies and organisations, share resources and match demand & supply, in order to curate an inclusive society for all and empower the once marginalised community. Also, we share multifarious resources and information about and for the community on our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn) increasing the visibility of public.
