Who we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced, diligent, capable, yet dynamic + agile, Logistics Manager with a positive can-do attitude, to not only rise up to daily challenges, but to support both internal teams + external clients think through processes + issues, to quickly find appropriate solutions to problems, but to continuously optimize our cross-border B2B Logistics & operations, so future challenges of any kind can be anticipated in advance, then rapidly categorized, diagnosed + systematically resolved.

What you will be doing

Main Objectives

To coordinate across departments to ensure smooth logistics operations + client after-sales service
To lead our activities in Operations (daily cross-border shipment handling), manage service providers (logistics/customs, QAQC from selection, tendering, performance and deliverables), and System Knowledge (mapping / UX / EDI / API)
To plug-and-play where necessary, as per timely business needs

Responsibilities

Maintain client satisfaction, due to affordable, reliable + timely logistics service delivery
Broad understanding of sourcing + logistics across Order Management, Shipping, QAQC, Customs Operations + Distribution
Optimize + manage end-to-end critical paths, ensure milestones are met throughout supply chains
Provide guidance on scheduling + priority of orders (escalations, re-schedules), assure all orders are properly handled on-time to reach clients by due date, support for after-sales customer services
Ensure cross-border customs declarations + statutory requirements are fulfilled
Own + ensure accuracy of Periodic Shipment Reports. Provide holistic view + real time insights to manage + improve overall shipment positions
Proactively improve internal Standard Operating Procedures, in order to meet operational targets, e.g. on-time / in-full delivery (95%), cost savings, margin improvement
Build up strong relationship network across China + South East Asia 3/4PL + last-mile players

Who you are

Degree in Logistics or related, with professional training in logistics preferred
5+ years of relevant work experience, such as from international/cross-border e-commerce platforms, global express corporate and regional freight forwarders
Well versed in shipping practices, customs rules and regulations + transportation management
Ability to identify risks + prioritize issues related to shipping + logistics operations
Aptitude for agile decision-making + independent problem-solving
Deep sense of collective responsibility + personal accountability
Willing to roll-up sleeves + lead relevant daily operations
Knowledge of system / SaaS / coding / EDI / API / Management reporting, in order to contribute towards co-development of new products / features
Working proficiency in Mandarin + English, with an articulate communication style
Based in Hong Kong or Shenzhen
