Sustainabl. is a ‘truly’ sustainable packaging company in Hong Kong. All of our products are home compostable or recyclable as paper and directly reduce the impact on our landfills and reduce plastic waste in our oceans. We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead the sales team, who is passionate about the environment and wants to help Hong Kong companies get ahead of the curve and ban single use plastics and bioplastics in their businesses. The main KPIs will be driving sales and revenue growth from new clients across key sectors.‍

Who we're looking for

Sustainabl. is a ‘truly’ sustainable packaging company in Hong Kong and is looking for a proven Sales Manager to help drive our business forward.

What are you will be doing:

Based in HK and reporting to the CEO, your role will be to increase sales from restaurants, bars, hotels, e-commerce platforms and corporate clients as well as to expand client networks and partnerships and explore new business opportunities.
Maintain, develop and strengthen business relationships with new and existing clients to provide excellent professional after-sales service
Build out the Sales Team as the business grows.
Resolve client complaints proactively by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
Monitor the marketplace to ensure we front run new openings, offerings and seasonal trends.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
Work with the Marketing Team on promotions, offers, advertising and other client facing projects.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses.
Explore partnerships with different channels to achieve and exceed revenue and company growth objectives in designated areas.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies and networking sessions and events.

Who you are:

5+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in packaging, F&B or hospitality retail channels.
Excellent customer service, key account management skills and product knowledge.
You have the personality to succeed in this role - collaborative, energetic, adaptable and reliable. Attitude and work ethic will be really important for this role.
You love building relationships and making connections around something you are passionate about. You are a make-it-happen person who is excited to roll up your sleeves and dive in.
You believe in the company mission and our role in advancing those planet positive goals - building a company committed to ‘truly’, best in class, sustainable packaging solutions.
A good team player with excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Xero, Hubspot and Trello experience is a bonus.
A Bachelor's degree in any field would be beneficial but not required.
Preferably fluent in both spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin.
