Redress is an environmental charity with a mission to prevent and transform textile waste to catalyze a circular economy and reduce fashion's water, chemical, and carbon footprints. Our programs work to change mindsets and practices to stop the creation of textile waste now and in the future, as well as creating systems and partnerships that generate and showcase the value in existing waste.
Environmental non-profit Redress is looking for a full-time Programme Assistant to support the Circular Fashion Team in the development and execution of its programme to raise awareness and inspire positive change about the way we make, buy and dispose of clothing through engagement with consumers, students and industry.
The Programme Assistant will support the planning and execution of the Circular Fashion Team's major projects, including the October Get Redressed Month public awareness campaign, year-round Takeback programme in retail stores, Get Redressed secondhand clothes pop-up shops, ECF Circular Fashion education programme for primary and secondary schools, year-round secondhand clothes resale programme, and other ad-hoc volunteering activities and events.
The Programme Assistant will support the Circular Fashion team in the office and onsite at events through active engagement with a variety of stakeholders (including brands, manufacturers, designers, schools, vendors, sponsors, charity beneficiaries and government departments), to push the issue of textile waste onto a mainstream agenda in HK and forge the development of resources and infrastructure to support our work and wider mission.
