What you will be doing in this role

A reputable international law firm is looking for a Business Development & Marketing Executive to be a part of the dynamic team. You will be working with partners of relevant practice groups and your team to implement strategy and business plans. This role will involve you working closely the Hong Kong team as well as the wider Asia Business Development and Marketing team based in Singapore, Malaysia, China and other ASEAN regions.

  • Support partners on marketing and business development strategies as requested to assist with client relationship management, client acquistion and profile raising
  • Prepare, coordinate and finalise pitches and capability statements
  • Key legal directory and awards submissions, coordinating interviews and preparing partners
  • Undertake research and provide business, industry, client and competitor intelligence and analysis on a regular basis
  • Assist with tracking and reporting of business development activities and prepare reports/ summaries regarding to the developments and performance
  • Database management including but not limited to creating, maintaining and working with practice group teams to updated membership lists, client contacts, mailing lists, deals database and more skills & experiences required.
Who you are
  • A bachelor degree or above in business administration, marketing, communication, legal or related fields
  • At least 2 years of experience working in professional services or financial services environment
  • Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (be able to speak Putonghua)
  • The ability to write in Simplified Chinese would be an advantage
  • High level of commercial acumen and strong analytical skills
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
