Who we're looking for

As architect, you will work with a small group of dedicated architects and with senior key players in the technology organization to define and drive the future architecture of Prive’s systems and to map out a transition from ‘the current’ to ‘the target’. You will guide the development teams through their process of architecting new components and functionalities. Execute architectural governance in a collaborative mode. Also you will contribute with hands-on work to build and refactor core components of Prive’s systems. Working code over fancy slides.

What you will be doing

Technology

Drive the architecture and architectural principles in collaboration with a small group of dedicated architects and with senior key players in the technology organization
Communicate those to ensure a cohesive understanding
Lead and guide by example: build and refactor and lead by example

People/Team

Enablement: educate and train the technology teams to understand the target architecture
Execution: guide them during architecting and implementing new components and functionalities
Act as a partner

Process/Methodology

Define architecture: architecture is the result of your collaboration, not a top down definition
Apply architecture: support critical projects at the early stage to identify the right architecture and throughout the execution with guidance and architectural governance
Hands-on: develop and maintain shared components and refactor existing code

Who you are

8+ years of experience in architecting, designing and developing high availability, high security and scaleable technical solutions
Ability to stay ahead of latest technical developments in the market
Ability to build strong partnerships with peers and the tech teams
Ability to communicate with teams and guide them
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Strong business acumen
Fluent spoken and written English
Interest in the business domain; only people who understand the domain will build great products
Customer centricity
Highly motivated and have a strong desire to collaborate in a fast-growing team with all its opportunities and challenges
