About Us

Prenetics is one of the largest diagnostics and genetic testing companies globally. With a team of more than 400 and with over US$85 million  in strategic funding from Alibaba, Ping An Ventures, and more, the group has been pivotal in the fight against COVID-19. To date, Prenetics has performed more than 3 million PCR tests in Hong Kong and in the United Kingdom. Prenetics works closely with both governments and came to international fame when it helped resume the season with the English Premier League and set up COVID-19 testing operations in airports globally, including Hong Kong International Airport and Heathrow Airport. Furthermore, the group recently made an acquisition of an Oxford University spin-out company, whom had developed a rapid COVID-19 test, with accurate results in 20 minutes. The group also operates two leading direct to consumer DNA platforms, CircleDNA and DNAFit.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for a Recruitment Researcher (12-month contract) to join our People Operations team in our Hong Kong headquarters at Prenetics. This position will begin with a 12-month contract and with the potential opportunity to extend the contract to a permanent role after organizational and performance review when the initial 12-month period ends. The priorities for this role will include but are not limited to research and identify suitable candidates, conduct initial screening and maintain candidate databases. We move fast and develop a lot of ideas so you will have to keep up with our pace and be a catalyst to positive change. You will be great at prioritizing tasks in a busy environment and be able to show that you can hit deadlines and exceed expectations.

What you will be doing
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition to shortlist suitable candidates, conduct market research, handle advertisement responses through various recruitment channels and social media platforms
  • Present search findings, carry out initial screening and arrange follow up interviews
  • Ensure candidate database is well-maintained and all information accurate
  • Provide support in market mapping
  • Facilitate headhunting projects as required
Who you are
  • Minimal experience - Minimum 1 year of relevant experience would be advantageous
  • Ownership - Has aspirations to be a charismatic Recruitment Subject Matter Expert in supporting a fast-paced work environment
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, able to methodically work through complex problems, set priorities and execute on commitments
  • Cross functional collaborator - plans well, prioritizes alignment, listens and asks great questions (up, down and around)
  • Strategic and independent thinker - passionate about your craft and delights in generating the right debates
  • Start-up speed and mentality - flexible, and can appreciate the crazy without judgement, works/ thinks at breakneck speed
  • Has humor and humanity - is self-aware, empathetic, can be vulnerable, builds real relationships, willing to laugh at self, fun

Nice to have

  • Fluency in English is highly preferred
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
