Prenetics is one of the largest diagnostics and genetic testing companies globally. With a team of more than 500 and with over US$85million  in strategic funding from Alibaba, Ping An Ventures, and more, the group has been pivotal in the fight against COVID-19. To date, Prenetics has performed more than 3 million PCR tests in Hong Kong and in the United Kingdom. Prenetics works closely with both governments and came to international fame when it helped resume the season with the English Premier League and set up COVID-19 testing operations in airports globally, including Hong Kong International Airport and Heathrow Airport. Furthermore, the group recently made an acquisition of an Oxford University spin-out company, whom had developed a rapid COVID-19 test, with accurate results in 20 minutes. The group also operates two leading direct to consumer DNA platforms, CircleDNA and DNAFit.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for a Laboratory Administrative Officer at Prenetics.

What you will be doing
  • Handle reporting of test results to government departments and clients, including record laboratory results and upload data to various portals;
  • Reconcile throughput data and generate related management reports;
  • Set up, monitor and optimise laboratory operational SOP periodically to ensure timely and accurate reporting;
  • Assist in planning and monitoring of laboratory capacity in meeting the business needs;
  • Prepare throughput projection and data analysis for lab operation and new initiative development;
  • Provide assistance in general administrative activities and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Who you are
  • University Degree or above with 1-3 years relevant working experiences
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google spreadsheets
  • Detail-minded with passion, patience and caring attitude in result-oriented service manner
  • Desire to work in a startup environment, with a proactive mindset and minimum need for supervision
  • Pleasant personality and well mannered. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well-organized, punctual, polite and strong sense of responsibility
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
