Having forayed in the industry both abroad and in Hong Kong, the duo witnessed a need for good quality yet reasonably priced dining. Following the launch of Pirata in 2014, the Group has since left its imprint in the Hong Kong food and beverage industry with ten unique concepts and 15 restaurant venues. With the simple mission of delivering memorable experiences, the Group focuses on putting the team first while serving quality cuisine within our welcoming restaurants.

We are looking for an energetic Human Resources Manager to join our rapidly growing restaurant group.

People are our most important asset and you’ll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive team of Pirates

What you will be doing
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing grievances or other issues
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organisation
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Supporting our performance appraisal system that drives high performance and progression
  • Maintain a competitive compensation and benefits programme for the Group
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Ensure continuous delivery of support and efficiency improvement for payroll and employee management services
  • Handle daily HR operations, including payroll, MPF, cost allocation, salaries tax and group medical insurance
  • Managing work injury and employee relations cases
  • Strong stakeholder partnering relationships with managers across our restaurants and supporting departments.
Who you are
  • Minimum of 7-8 years' of Human Resources and Compensation & Benefit experience, ideally within F&B, Retail, or Hospitality industry
  • Possess a strong sense of responsibility and ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • High fluency in English - other languages are highly beneficial
  • Well versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and other related legislation
  • Proficient in MS Office programmes, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint; strong capability with HRIS software
  • Bachelors degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Studies or a related discipline
