Who we're looking for

To develop and manage the strategic partnership plan aligned to the marketing communications  strategy across Hong Kong and China, online and offline.  To align with the business plan and meet the agreed sales and profitability targets. To manage and develop the team in order to deliver the brand partnerships and ERE strategic plan. The customer to be at the heart of all decision making.

What you will be doing in this role:

In addition to following Lane Crawford’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Sales and Profit

  • To achieve the seasonal sales and profit targets for the assigned brands and categories across Hong Kong and China online and offline
  • To negotiate with vendors in a firm, but fair, manner to secure trade terms, performance, and exclusive programs to optimize sales and profit using ERE rate card and framework
  • To be proactive in understanding the competition.  To take actions to drive ambitious strategy of Lane Crawford growth in China specifically
  • To ensure that staff are utilizing Omni-channel technology to encourage customers to shop on and off-line, maximizing sales at every opportunity when selling ERE
  • To monitor and identify ways to maximize sales and inventory efficiency, measured by the key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • To ensure sales staff are fully trained on product knowledge and therefore equipped to sell the brands pertaining to the assigned categories working with Sales and Operations (SNO) team

Marketing Planning

  • To work with vendors & cross functional teams to develop omni-marketing & animation plans to engage with customers on all platforms within creative schemes framework
  • To work with vendors on brand collaborations to drive business unit differentiation versus competition and create existing content and experiences from our customers
  • To analyze and evaluate the results for all marketing activities. To prepare reports as required, including proposals, post mortems, customer analysis, and key learnings

Relationship Management

  • To work with the assigned vendors to formulate a yearly calendar and strategic plan to grow the business and drive exciting, exclusive programs
  • To work with the Content, Brand Creative, and Store Operations teams to ensure all departments’ needs are met.  To foresee and bridge any gaps in key initiatives.
  • To work closely and develop strong relationships with business partners
  • To establish new partnerships and identify opportunities for strategic collaborations

Business Unit Development

  • To work with the department head to develop annual and quarterly key objectives for the department.  To monitor progress and take action as necessary to ensure objectives are completed in a timely manner.
  • To assist in presenting the brand partnerships and ERE strategic plan direction to senior management team and across departments as necessary
  • To share insights on growth opportunities for the brand partnerships and ERE strategic plan based on market trends, category development, and customer demands

  • To build a personal connection with each team member, taking time to understand them individuals and identify ways to motivate, retain and engage them

About you:
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in Corporate Sales and business development,  with proven track records in handling large transactions. Retail experience is not mandatory.
  • Strong in relationship and partnership management while driving sales
  • Confident in managing marketing projects and large-scale campaigns
  • Independent, proactive and energetic
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent command in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and/Mandarin
  • Candidates with a Bachelor Degree in any discipline is welcomed
  • Immediate availability preferred
