Who we're looking for

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition / Consultant Solutions Manager to join our team at KorumLegal!

About the role

You will report directly to the Head of Customer Solutions, North Asia.

We’re looking for an exceptional individual to join our growing HQ team as Talent Acquisition / Consultant Solutions Manager. As part of the unique innovative model that KorumLegal has developed, we engage with Consultant lawyers to fulfil our customer needs. In this role, you will gain unique exposure to KorumLegal’s HQ operations and will play a key part in the ideation, implementation and execution of the KorumLegal strategy.  To be successful in this role, you will have great project management skills and the ability to execute a plan with urgency, passion and great attention to detail.  You will be an amazing people person, and have excellent communication skills in order to grow, engage and support our consultant community throughout Asia Pacific, EMEA and globally. We work in a flexible and fast-paced environment, so you will also need to easily adapt to change, able to work independently and are pro-active and have good initiative.

Key responsibilities

Consultant attraction and sourcing (40% of your time):

  • Develop a good understanding of the needs of each customer or assignment by working with the Customer Solutions team and the respective GMs.
  • Source suitable candidates and brief/sell them on the opportunities offered by the customer as well as the KorumLegal value proposition for them.
  • Manage the recruitment process from interview to offer stage and beyond. This would include onboarding the consultant using our proprietary platform, Axceller.
  • Manage and build upon relationships with consultants to maintain and develop a positive and growing business relationship.
  • Research and identify potential conferences, summits, workshops, and other networking events that could assist to increase consultant outreach.
  • Help to maintain the consultant section of the KorumLegal website, and with the help of the marketing team optimise it for obtaining consultant applications to align with customer and business need and ensure that consultant enquiries are handled in a timely manner.
  • Manage all incoming consultant applications that are channeled via our website & referrals.
  • Align with the overall target segment of the sales team and help to build out consultant pipeline to support the team.

Consultant management / resourcing (30% of your time):

  • Ensure that consultant profiles are complete and up to date in our internal database both while onboarding and subsequently.
  • Develop an exceptional understanding of the skills / strengths of the current consultant base at KorumLegal and constantly be on the look out to fill gaps in our consultant community’s skill set coverage keeping an eye on customer demand, market trends and future demand.
  • Work with GM’s and the Customer Solutions Team on any customer related consultant issues ensuring effective and workable solutions are identified for any situation that arises.
  • Work with Operations team to ensure that consultant operational processes including onboarding, invoicing, payment etc. work smoothly and any escalations are handled in a timely manner.
  • Take a strategic approach to consultant resourcing by matching supply and demand across the KorumLegal platform to ensure best utilisation of consultant resources while increasing chances of sales success.
  • Promote the consultant referral program (taking into account the right incentives) for the consultant community working with the marketing team to build the referral program as a substantial source of new sales leads and consultant resourcing leads for the company.
  • Support in the maintenance of KorumLegal’s internal technology tools and systems.

Consultant engagement/ community development (30% of your time):

  • “Own” the consultant community and run programs to increase engagement from the group. Plus design SMART metrics for reporting this to leadership. Be the face of KorumLegal to the consultants.
  • Run the consultant newsletter program and lead virtual meetings keeping the community informed about KorumLegal updates as well as important industry developments. While at the same time ideating about new channels to increase engagement from the community.
  • Build the KorumLegal brand amongst the current and potential consultant community such that they become advocates of the brand and eventually become sources of new business for the company.
  • Work with the sales team to grow a fully utilised and engaged consultant community.

  • Develop efficient and effective systems and processes for consultant recruitment
  • High utilisation of consultants
  • Support the regional GMs to deliver on their resourcing plan and pipeline
  • Support GMs and Customer Solutions Team on any customer related consultant issues
  • Keep our CRM, sales and our propriety consultant management, Axceller systems up-to-date
  • Maintain a healthy, engaged and productive team of consultants and vibrant ecosystem and community in all our markets and globally

Key requirements
  • BA/BS/BEc degree (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven track record as a legal recruiter preferred (3 years minimum preferred).
  • NewLaw or Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP) experience
  • Enjoys working in a target driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent research and interviewing skills.
  • Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
  • A passion and strong understanding of the gig economy and KorumLegal’s purpose of “Reshaping legal solutions together for a better tomorrow.”
  • An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimise/scale various recruitment strategies.
  • Excellent organisational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.
  • Technology driven and proficient, able to adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Exemplary verbal and written English are a must, Cantonese and Mandarin would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to develop successful relationships.
  • A team player who can roll up their sleeves when we need all hands-on deck
  • Knows what it means to “hustle”
