Happyer is a leading HRTech startup that is transforming the way companies build engaging and happier workplaces. We are looking for a talented intern to join our BD & Partnerships teams.

What you will be doing:

Being a small team, you will be working directly with the founder and team from day one. Be ready to wear a number of hats, to be involved in all aspects of the business. Below are some of the areas you will be involved in, but not limited to:

Business Development - ~70%

Sales is key to generating revenue for a company and in Happyer, we work hand-in-hand with marketing. You’ll play a crucial role in lead generation from prospecting (inbound & outbound) to sales pitching.

  • Lead generation is also very important in any company, you’ll be involved from the very initial research of target customers / prospects to the actual pitching, working and gaining guidance from the Sales Lead.
  • Many of our clients are Human Resource Managers and Marketing Managers (especially for the employer branding media we provide), so you’ll have first-hand experience dealing with them.
  • You’ll need to be proactive, innovative, a team player, analytical, a quick learner and have lots of perseverance; research and public speaking is a benefit.

Partnerships   - ~20%

Partnerships build the community and drive collaboration.

  • You’ll research and come up with new creative ways to partner and collaborate with local co-working spaces, organisations and institutions.
  • You’ll also help prepare and run the online / offline events with partners and manage partnership success
  • Cantonese is a plus

Adhoc   - ~10%

As a startup, we’re small and wear many hats. You’ll occasionally be asked to jump into unique projects to help out.

  • Deep dive into all operations of the business and identify gaps and suggests ways to define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Implementation of approved operational improvements.
  • Drive special projects that help drive the business forward.
  • Supporting the team with adhoc projects such as video shoots, logistics and content collection(don’t worry, we won’t ask you to get us coffee or anything like that).
