We are looking to add an experienced Digital Copy Editor to our team to help us manage and maintain our growing digital
library. Guided by superior proofreading skills and sharp editorial judgement, your primary objective in this role would be
to ensure that all archived content is reflective of Guidepoint’s standards for high-quality, thus reinforcing its reputation
as a go-to resource for expert industry insight.

What you will be doing
  • Act as final quality check before any content—teleconference transcripts and audio recordings, marketing
materials, etc.—is live online and made available to clients
  • Exercise outstanding editorial judgement when reviewing, copy editing, and proofreading the variety of content
    associated with our moderated teleconferences
  • Revise text based on fundamental grammatical standards and best practices, AP style, AMA style, in-house style,
etc., to guarantee high-quality output based on consistency, accuracy, and clarity
  • Support the functionality of the digital library and aid in cataloging archived content via meticulous attention to
detail, solid organizational skills, and familiarity with SEO strategy
  • Self-manage personal workloads to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while simultaneously collaborating with
the other editors in the comprehensive workflow
  • Coordinate with colleagues across all departments on impending deadlines, communicating effectively to
    collectively meet speedy turnaround demands
  • Contribute to developing editorial initiatives or engage in creative problem solving by proactively brainstorming
    with fellow editors
Who you are
  • 3+ years of copy editing and/or digital media experience, preferably in business-focused content, medical
    manuscripts, or academic journals
  • Experience proofreading and formatting client-facing content in accordance with AP style, AMA style, client style,
    and company-specific in-house styles
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and/or digital archiving experience
  • Solid computer skills, including the ability to independently navigate Microsoft Office or equivalent suites,
communication and collaborative tools, and CRM or CMS systems
  • A quick yet thorough editing tactic; your focus, keen attention to detail, and propensity for accuracy does not falter
    under deadline-driven pressure
  • Flexibility while multitasking and proven ability to excel in fast-paced environments
  • Confidence to diplomatically provide clear, concise, constructive feedback when necessary, and ability to embrace
constructive criticism with a positive disposition
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate well with others
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or a related discipline
  • Transcription/transcript editing as well as audio engineering experience are huge pluses
What we offer
  • Competitive compensation
  • Dynamic and high-growth team
  • Centrally location office.
  • Free snacks and beverages, as well as a casual work environment
