FUSANG builds financial infrastructure for Asian institutional investors so that they can access the digital asset economy in a way that is secure, compliant, and convenient. We are focused on two main areas: FUSANG Exchange, which is Asia's first fully-licensed securities exchange focusing on the public listing and trading of digital assets and securities; and FUSANG Vault, our custodian and digital asset servicing platform.

We are currently looking for a Head of Institutional Sales. Join us and be part of the team!

What you will be doing
  • Lead the overall strategy and vision of generating sales and growing institutional client/investor base
  • Own the development and implementation of sales/client growth business plans
  • Identify growth opportunities through own network in financial industry and experience in institutional sales
  • Market new listings and offerings, internal and external inclusive; and promote trading activity
  • Generate fee incomes through direct client relationships and financial intermediary collaborations
  • Acquire clients/investors from traditional financial industry and emerging crypto/digital assets space. Potential clients/investors include, but are not limited to FIs, hedge funds, family offices, HNWIs and financial intermediaries
  • Leverage own connections to expand client/investor outreach to successfully conclude transaction placements & offerings and create business opportunities
  • Responsible for all sales tasks, including leads generation, pipeline management, pitching, transaction closure, sales liaison and ongoing accounts management
  • Lead and manage a team to execute the agreed business plans and be accountable for the functional performance against periodical targets
  • Work as a member of business development taskforce to align sales and business goals for the company's overall corporate development
  • Collaborate with different internal teams at a relatively flat corporate structure
  • Contribute to and play a part in ad-hoc tasks or projects
Who you are


  • University degree or advanced qualification
  • 10+ years of FI senior sales experience with 3+ years managing team
  • Demonstrate track record in growing sales and client base independently and in building own P&L with new financial products/services
  • Solid reputation and extensive network with direct connection to decision makers or C-levels across various client segments including family offices, corporates, hedge funds and financial intermediaries. Clientele receptive to crypto/digital assets is highly preferred
  • Multi-year experience in private banking, wealth management, ECM/DCM or transaction placing
  • In-depth knowledge of financial market and investment products. Understanding of and working experience in blockchain/crypto/digital assets is highly preferred. Able to leverage traditional capital market experience to market new crypto/digital assets
  • Ability to adopt business priority changes and manage multiple focuses & tasks
  • Excellent managerial, presentation, social and communication skills
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English
  • Accustomed to Western culture and adaptive to multi-tasks environment at startups
