We are looking for a highly-driven and motivated Associate Warehouse Manager to join our fun, professional and dedicated pandamart Department based here in Hong Kong. Our pandamart team strives to change the Hong Kong consumers groceries purchase behaviour from traditional retail / standard e-commerce to no-queue, 15 mins delivery, 24x7 always available. What you will be doing
  • Build relationships with our top accounts and understand their organization structure, strategy, expectations and desires for the online delivery market
  • Develop new business in conjunction with your strategic accounts to grow their business through adding locations (i.e. locations deployment, expansion support), experimenting with new business models (e.g. shared kitchens) or growing same-location sales (e.g. effective marketing, menu optimisation)
  • Utilise data-driven decision making to understand the performance of initiatives to ensure you are effectively prioritising those with the highest return on investment
  • Lead commercial discussions with strategic partners to maximize benefits to both parties
  • Work closely with stakeholders in internal teams both in Hong Kong (e.g. Marketing local) and globally (e.g. Product, Support, Courier Operations) to drive nationwide actions on your strategic accounts, solve problems and ensure that feedback received is utilised in improving our product and operations
  • Collaborate with our Regional Product team to scope out and prioritize vendor related IT developments and ensure that the developments are rolled out seamlessly
  • Examine competitors and adjacent industries to identify key innovations (self-care solutions, vendor loans, loyalty programs etc.), adapt and implement them in foodpanda
  • Be a foodpanda ambassador and increase the profile of what we do
Who you are
  • University degree required ideally in an analytical discipline, e.g. business or engineering or MBA
  • Vendor Management, buyer or sales experience at a senior level for several years ideally in an e-commerce, tech-start up, key account management or consulting environment
  • At least 7-8 years of experience in team management is highly preferred  
  • Strong communication skills and an assertive approach, whilst maintaining your ability to be vocally self-critical
  • A smart way of thinking in order to find innovative approaches for vendor management
  • A business focused way of thinking and a strong hands-on, results-driven mentality combined with a high desire to work strategically
  • Highly analytical skill set with aptitude for figures and data-driven argumentation, advanced Excel Skill is a must
  • Experience of managing and developing a high performing team as well as being able to set-up and drive cross-functional and virtual teams
  • Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English is a must
