Who we're looking for

Carbonase is looking for a passionate Carbon / ESG Consulting Manager to join the team!

What you will be doing

Advise on client’s decarbonization strategy through researching industry best practice, regulatory environment and emerging technologies
Calculate client’s carbon footprint, scope of which can cover enterprise operations, particular product LCA or carbon-reduction impact; these calculations must be performed in compliance with recognized international or regional carbon measurement standards
Whenever appropriate, recommend and help client to scope technology solutions to semi/automate client’s carbon management process, leveraging our in-house development capabilities or partner with external providers
Lead and build a consulting team to deliver projects
Deliver training and coaching to consultants in carbon measurement, reporting and professional client service
Raise Carbonbase’s profile as a professional Carbon Consulting service provider in the field, via speaking engagements at industry events and participating in standard-setting communities

Who you are

3+ years or above of ESG consulting or in-house ESG strategy experience
Knowledge of carbon measurement and reporting standards (i.e. GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-67, GRI, SASB, SBTi, TCFD, etc.)
Knowledge of climate and sustainability issues and international and regional carbon market regulatory frameworks (compliance and voluntary)
End-to-end client advisory service experience (i.e. need discovery, industry research, project scoping, contract negotiation, carbon calculation, report drafting, upselling to related services)
Ability to develop and bring in new client relationships
Ability to work autonomously (remotely) as well as an integral part of a highly motivated team creating impact
Ability to work and perform in a fast-paced, agile environment
Demonstrated interest in web3, blockchain and community-driven platforms
Fluent in English and Mandarin

You can adapt like a chameleon, web3 and sustainability are fast-changing fields; what you worked on last month may not be what you work on today, and that excites you
Owning a project or a challenge doesn’t scare you, you will work with the team to align resources and motivations to get it done
