Who we're looking for

Our client is a multinational bank with an all-rounded financial operations at its prime within the APAC region. They are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to support their Finance Operations team.

What you will be doing
  • Deliver consistently accurate and timely financial and management reporting, with a focus on expenses reporting, in accordance with the group and internal reporting requirements 
  • Act as a business partner with stakeholders to provide technical business planning advice in driving growth and improving productivity
  • Participate in the annual budget and quarterly forecast preparation for business units
  • Responsible for expenses monitoring, for example, providing meaning financial analysis, identifying and explaining expenses variances, working closely with various teams to understand the key drivers of expenses and substantiating expenses allocation policy
  • Support month end process and ensuring on-time completion
  • Participate in MIS projects to improve MIS processes/systems
  • Support new projects and initiatives as required
Who you are
  • A University Graduate with at least 5 years' relevant experience in financial reporting from major financial institutions or external audit firm specializing in financial industry audit 
  • Good understanding of banking business
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (MS Word, PowerPoint & Dashboard)  
  • A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills in stakeholders management
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently under tight schedule
